Never Back Down - Movie Review

Never Back Down (4/5* Rating)
Opened March 14, 2008 | Runtime:1 hr. 46 min.
PG-13 Mature thematic material involving intense sequences of fighting/violence, some sexuality, partying and language - all involving teens

Summary
:
Jake Tyler (Sean Faris) is a new kid in town with a troubled past. Jake was the star athlete on his football team back home in Iowa, but in this new city he is an outsider with a reputation for being a quick tempered brawler. After he is unwittingly pulled into a fight, defeated and humiliated, a classmate introduces him to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. It is immediately apparent to Jake that Mixed Martial Arts is not street fighting but rather an art form he wants to master, and he soon finds his mentor in Jean Roqua (Djimon Hounsou), who takes Jake under his wing.
Review:
This is a high-performance action packed movie that provides nonstop tension, inspiring training sessions, brutal fighting scenes and a good soundtrack. I give this a 4 out of 5 star rating. If you enjoy sports, Mixed Martial Arts, fighting, action and sport stories.....this is for you. I would recommend this to all of my guy friends. Enjoy!
