According to Kentucky Sports Radio, The University of Kentucky Mens Basketball will be getting a visit on Wednesday from my favorite player, 6-7 forward Tobias Harris. Torrel Harris, Tobias’ father, wrote via text on Tuesday: “We are planning a trip to Kentucky on Wednesday before we go [to] Portland for Nike Global.”
I was able to watch Harris on ESPN U as he joined the Albany City Rocks in Orlando. According to Torrel, UK has recently picked up the interest with Harris and extended an official offer about 2 weeks ago. The recruitment of Tobias has been quick and furious with numerous coaches trying to get involved. The Harris family will be arriving in Lexington today for a short visit before going to the Nike Global Games. Tobias is a tremendous ball player! Any school would be lucky to have him, so UK fans should get pretty excited about this visit and about the possibility of Tobias wearing the Blue & White. GO BIG BLUE!
