Here are a few recent announcements from players UK was recruiting:
•Rakeem Christmas (2011) - #6 player in the country. He provided final list of 8 teams and UK was not one of them. He indicated that UK’s style of play was the reason he did not choose them. UK does not have many scholarships for 2011 and I believe one is already taken in Mike Gilchrist (photo)
•Joe Jackson (2010) – His final three are Memphis, Tenn, and Kansas. Wiith all of the PG’s currently at UK and whom they were recruiting this is no surprise. He would be tough to get out of Memphis.
