Updated Post from August 4th, 2009:
Recruiting Thoughts:
The University of Kentucky (UK) has at least three (3) scholarships to provide for the class of 2010. UK will have departures of Ramon Harris, Perry Stevenson and Jodie Meeks (scholarship not used). In addition, UK may have an additional two (2) or three (3) departures with Patrick Patterson, John Wall, and/or DeMarcus Cousins. Therefore, it seems safe to say that UK will need to recruit at least four (4) and maybe as much as six (6) scholarship players. John Calipari told Terrel Harris (Tobias's father) that UK is only looking to provide four (4) scholarships for next year. I assume he is saving one or two for the following year (2011 class). I have bold and italic whom I believe are the most likely additions. I have also provided a priority order within each position based on my beliefs. My beliefs are driven by other blogs, Internet reporting and news articles. I have no inside sources! These are my thoughts as of today.

I’m very impressed with our new coaching staff and their ability to raise an interest level in all of these 5 and 4 star basketball players. A recruiting class of would be huge! Probably another #1 class but definitely top 3. Wow! My next three guesses would be Knight, Lamb, Harris and PayneSelby, Jones and Leslie and probably in that order. Enes Kanter is a wild card for right now. I have no idea how his recruitment will proceed?
As I stated before, I personally enjoy watching Tobias Harris. This kid will be a better version of Jamal Mashburn. Read that sentence again! Mr. Harris has allowed UK to get more involved. He currently has a very long list of suitors. Go get them Coach Cal. GO BIG BLUE!
